Vacuum casting furnace malfunction phenomena and treatment methods:
1. Low vacuum: Pump oil contamination, too little or too thin. Clean the vacuum pump and replace with new vacuum pump oil.
2. Pumping time too short: Extend the pumping time.
3. Pumping filter clogged: Clean or replace the exhaust filter.
4. Leaks: After evacuation, turn off the power and check the solenoid valve, pipe joints, vacuum pump suction valve, and the surrounding seals of the working chamber for leaks.
5. High noise: Vacuum pump coupling worn or broken, replace.
6. Exhaust filter clogged or incorrectly installed: Clean or replace the exhaust filter and install correctly.
7. Vacuum furnace oil spraying: Suction valve O-ring detached. Remove the vacuum tube from the nozzle, remove the suction nozzle, remove the pressure spring and suction valve, gently stretch the O-ring several times, and reinsert it into the groove before reinstalling.
8. Vane worn: Replace the vane.
9. Vacuum pump oil leak: Return valve clogged. Remove the return valve and clean it (see manual for details).
10. Oil window loose: After draining the oil, remove the oil window and wrap it with sealing tape or thin plastic film.
11. Excessive oil smoke from the vacuum furnace: Exhaust filter clogged or contaminated. Clean or replace the exhaust filter.
12. Pump oil contaminated: Replace with new oil.
13. Return valve clogged: Clean the return valve (see manual for details).
14. No heating: Heating element burned out, replace the heating element.
15. Heating time relay burned out (both lights on when powered on, OMRON light is yellow): Replace the time relay.
16. Heating wire burned out: Replace the heating wire and install it securely. Poor contact of the heating temperature band switch: Repair or replace. AC contactor controlling heating does not reset: Repair (blow away foreign objects with air) or replace.
